I have a master’s degree in English education, and have completed additional coursework with an emphasis on writing. My creative nonfiction has been published in Louisiana Literature, and I’ve contributed to various blogs. Recently, I completed a literary horror novel and have just begun the querying process. In addition to writing and teaching, I am fascinated with genealogy and have spent the past five years honing my skills in DNA and family history research. I love a good puzzle, and I am a patient and diligent researcher. My other interests include film, pop culture, mental health, education, and all things horror.
