Having served as both a Creative Director and a Senior Web Manager for many years, I have a deep understanding of how large-scale web projects operate and can easily translate complex ideas into stunning visuals, websites, and campaigns. I am confident working with teams of designers, writers, developers, and strategists to create outstanding digital experiences that not only look fantastic but get stellar results. At Appian I lead the transition of Appian’s content management system (CMS) from WordPress to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). I built more than 20 components, 30 templates, and multiple experience fragments leveraging my skills as a frontend developer (languages/frameworks: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and XML). I worked with and managed cross-functional teams of developers, content creators, external vendors, web developers, and stakeholders. I was in charge of distributing and monitoring tasks using tools like: JIRA, Slack, Trello, Wrike, and GitHub. I also setup and ran localization platform tools like: Smartling.com and Translations.com. Including adding 4 additional language sites and expanding existing sites from just 10 to over 1000 localized pages. As Creative Director I have developed many logos, brands, wireframes, websites, and product designs. Most recently I planned, designed, and developed a custom WordPress website leveraging my experience in UX design improving user engagement and resulting in an increase in web traffic up to 300%. At Solace Brewing, I have designed custom product packaging for over 60 cans, 4 cases, 2 vehicle, and 2 delivery truck wraps. I've also designed many promotional banners, online ad creatives, landing pages, product release schedules, and corporate sales sheets to assist the sales team in the field. I also have extensive experience with analytics, personalization, marketing strategy, and demand generation tools. I am extremely proficient with both Pardot and Marketo. I have designed and coded forms, templates, and landing pages on both platforms. I have built customized user experiences with Adobe Target leveraging market research to conduct A/B tests, then measured results with Google and Adobe Analytics. Resulting in data-driven improvements that doubled basic user interaction and increasing conversion rates up to 400% in some cases. I am open to freelance, contract, and full time positions.
