Actuary student - Python & R Programming - Machine Learning - BigData

My name is Josefina and I am a fourth-year student in the BS Actuarial Sciences attending the University of Buenos Aires. I am passionate about actuarial science and am excited to apply mathematical and statistical methods to assess and manage risk. I am interested in survival analysis, risk management, predictive analytics, and data science. Currently I am interested in building strong tech skills and keep practicing different programming languages in the workplace. I consider myself as autodidact, meticulous, proactive, responsible, organized, dedicated, practical, and motivated to offer a good contribution to a company. In addition to my academical training in the area of actuarial economics, I have been able to learn programming in Python and R Stats in academic projects at university and in a self-taught way by attending courses at Bootcamps. I also had the opportunity to work with NLP, Machine Learning, Time Series Analysis, Linear Regression, Data Modeling , Power BI, and forecasting, which helped me automatize and analyze data at work. Throughout these years, I have concluded that my professional goal is to become an expert in programming with strong and solid skills in Machine Learning and Data Science. I am sure that in order to achieve this, I not only need to consolidate this knowledge at work, but I also have to continue learning on my own by attending courses and successfully completing projects related to code programming, process automation, algorithm design, and data analysis and processing. I would be delighted to expand my professional experience, demonstrate my capabilities, and contribute significantly to your company's growth.
