After my enlistment ended, I shifted gears and began college. I worked part time at my hometown newspaper as an assistant editor while also a full-time student. I graduated from college and nabbed a job with the U.S. Geological Survey as a hydrologic technician, but my affinity for writing never left. I'm now looking to pick up freelance work in a variety of roles and topics, with my focus on writing professionally.
