Delivering Confidence in Corporate Governance and Communications

I am a governance and communications professional with over twenty years of experience assisting organisations to deliver transformational change. After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce from the esteemed University of Wollongong, I embarked on a professional career in consultancy. I began with the global all-rounder Accenture and moved to the smaller specialist firm Effective Governance. My empathetic nature, coupled with a deep understanding of the relevant issues, allowed me to connect with individuals on a profound level. Through my MBA studies, I was particularly drawn to addressing issues such as employee engagement, cultural change, and leadership communications. To gain greater experience implementing solutions to these issues, I joined the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads in 2004 as a Principal Advisor. Here, I delivered innovative programs that provided education and mentorship for the leadership team, covering the areas of governance, strategic management, performance management and compliance. As a freelance consultant, I am regularly called upon to provide governance, strategy and communications advice to clients across the globe, working closely with executives to enable corporate change.
