Hello!👋 My name is Matt, and although I am relatively new to Upwork and freelance writing in general, I have years of experience in writing, editing, and researching not only my own but also others’ University-level work and can provide services for a wide-range of needs. I have a B.S. in Biochemistry, and my exposure to and practicing my craft in this field in writing, editing, and researching has played a very significant role in my successful progression through my professional and academic career thus far. Currently, I am working in the Microbiology Lab at Leprino Foods conducting routine pathogen testing, providing support to individual research projects as needed, and writing, reviewing, and editing company standard operating procedures. I am proficient in laboratory writing, documentation, technical skills, and procedures. My background is in the natural sciences, and I have written and presented numerous detail-oriented reports based off of my own research experiments that I had conducted while studying at the University of Denver. Furthermore, I have some experience with writing strong, clear objectives for grants and project proposals. I have always loved to write and it has been a hobby of mine for a while. Even though my background may be a little bit different than other writers, I think only makes me a stronger candidate. I am extremely comfortable with writing, proofreading, and editing academic articles, literature reviews, journals, and research-based papers. However, I also love to write creatively and would be able to do so for a number of different platforms. I am an extremely hardworking, dedicated, curious, and self-motivated individual.
