Web Developer with an eye for design

I love two things: coding, and design. Anything that involves these two words is of interest to me, which means I've always been intrigued to explore any fields that revolve around them, including web development, UI/UX design and prototyping, brand identity, photography, video editing, some system programming, some cybersecurity, and a little bit of everything. But as they say, “A jack of all trades is a master of none”, so right now, I am focusing on web development. The reason why I choose to undertake this career lies in its great correlation to design, in which I have had quite a few years of experience. Undoubtedly, a product's UI is vitally important to the overall user experience, because no matter how great and complex the backend infrastructure is, a poorly designed frontend will often create an obstacle between the user and the usability of the product, which makes all the backend work go down the drain. In that regard, I believe that it's equally important to ensure good communication between the designer and the frontend developer and that the greatest way to achieve that is to ensure that they share a common understanding of design concepts. Therefore, as someone who is both a designer and a developer, I believe that my skills and efforts should be channeled into filling this gap!
