"I had a good experience working with Ali on the first group of test assignments (written articles based on outlines we provided). In fact, despite a few grammatical issues the output was strong. He was even kind enough to use a new internal tool we developed and was patient through some of the bugs that came up. But with the second round of assignments the experience soured. He complained about writing more articles in the same niche (sports), which is problematic, seeing as *this is the need we have right now*. Then despite pushing to get more work from me, he took over a week to finish two assignments (which should only have taken 2 hours total) and billed twice as much. I sense that he never intended to be the actual one writing and may have been farming out the work all along. He mentioned having a group of writers at the outset he could tag in, so this might have been a veiled attempt to sneak in an agency. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this gentleman operated with a rare sense of entitlement and smugness that drew me out."

"I feel bad about the situation. It was a misunderstanding between us. We first had an issue with the tool's bugs, which caused several disruptions in our workflow and made it difficult for me to provide content on time. However, I remained patient while communicating back and forth until Josh finally closed the contract without any conversation!"
