Freelance Writer and Tutor

I am a flight attendant who usually works about 100 hours a month for a major airline. However, given the current situation, I am looking for freelance writing projects or tutoring opportunities to occupy me during my furlough. I have over a decade of technical and creative writing experience and my strengths writing-wise include: • Blog posts • Newsletter articles • Short stories • Journalism and research • Resume writing • Promotional writing I am well-versed in topics related to travel, sustainability, environmental science, history, and technology. I also have five years of professional experience writing promotional content for non-profits, including social media posts and brochures. For tutoring, I have three years of experience teaching grade school students through my volunteer work with the Boys and Girls Club and tutoring experience dating back to high school. My teaching philosophy aims to be interdisciplinary. When tutoring, I am most successful by building a relationship with each student, so I can cater directly to their unique needs, goals, and interests.
