"Dear Jessica, I would like to begin by highlighting that freelancers on Upwork are not to be treated like disposable beings who work whenever the client deems fit and however they think is right. There is a learning curve to each project and we're not machines that are meant to churn out deliverables under absurd expectations. I am sorry to hear that you feel availability and communication were issues. It was indeed difficult to communicate with a client that was unavailable themselves to clearly convey what they needed and had no clarity on what the outcome of the specified work would look like. It was also difficult to gauge the requirements of the project as they changed multiple times in a span of 3 days. I struggled with my contract hours being modified continuously, with requests for additional work outside of the stipulated working hour as specified by the contract, messages and requests outside of my working hours usually late into the night, and several ad hoc requests with no respect for my time and other commitments. Respectful communication is founded on reciprocity. I am unable to provide feedback on your services as a client but I do hope that you're able to treat your future employees with more respect.
