Specializing in Medical and Legal Japanese-to-English Translations I studied Japanese at International Christian University from 1967 - 1969 and graduated from Sophia University, Tokyo in 1970. I have lived in Tokyo since 1967 and taught in Japanese universities from 1975 until my retirement in 2017. I am currently a Professor Emeritus at Komazawa University. I also have worked as a freelance translator, interpreter, and writer/editor for more than 40 years. Currently I specialize in Japanese-to-English translation and proofreading.
