Facade CAD Drafter, Windows and Doors Estimator

Hi, I'm Janina from the Philippines. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. I have four years of experience working as an AutoCAD draftsman for Facade Design at Al Abbar Aluminum Philippines, Inc. (part of the Al Abbar Group), where I was involved in various projects. During my time there, I closely collaborated with our team leader and senior designers, contributing to different aspects of each project. My responsibilities included producing shop drawings, conducting material take-offs and estimates for material order, and creating cutting list drawings for production. Recently, I've been employed as a freelance estimator for a windows and doors company based in New York. In this role, I create estimates for wood, aluminum, and steel windows and doors. My responsibilities include studying related bid documents, conducting material take-offs, tabulating window and door schedules, and sending them to our partner manufacturers for pricing. Additionally, I create and send quotations to clients via email, ensuring that their specific needs regarding window or door products are met. If a project is awarded, I generate material lists for orders, handle purchase orders, create project schedules, and provide shop drawings.
