Quality holistic education is necessary for each individual to adapt and navigate today's dynamic environment to balance their personal and professional lives. However, access to quality education is minimal all around India. My personal experiences encouraged me to investigate the extent to which our current system provides quality education and explore ways to provide it. Thus, I initiated a project, Petal Arts, an art-based community program to work towards this issues. To further explore the use of progressive pedagogy to build life skills explicitly, I interned at Enabling Leadership. Here I explored the constructivist approach of experiential and inquiry-based learning models to create an experience based on content from SDG goals, help students build skills through real-life application by solving problems, and ending with structured reflection.
