"I hired Mike for this project, which I wanted to get done within 7 days. Mike had some personal family challenges in those first 7 days so understandably couldn't make much progress in the first 7 days. I was able to get my client to give me some additional time. Mike continued to work on the project for another approximately 10 days after his family situation settled. Multiple times Mike said everything was working, but it never was. Mike offered to fix everything at no additional charges. Normally I would have been OK with this, but unfortunately the project had fallen too far behind, so I had to hire additional resources to enter data manually instead. I asked Mike to consider giving me a partial refund instead as I paid him nearly $2000, and none of the work he did was usable. But he did not respond. Mike seemed like a nice guy. But this was not a good experience."
