English to spanish artistic translator- music composer and producer

If I had to define myself in the workplace with a single word, that would be pragmatic. both as translator, musician and producer, my ability to analize, synthesize and act accordingly has proven more than effective in several occassions. I´ve been studying, performing, composing and producing music for ten years and will continue to do so as long as I breathe. This experience has provided several tools in the fields of poetic interpretation and esthetic arts. Which comes in handy when it comes to translating poetry, lyrics and other artistic texts. My experience with the english language started at age three, as I studied in a billingual school until I graduated high-school. Nowadays it has become a valuable skill for me as I am teaching english to adults. My background in education on adults, children and adolescents has enriched my communication abilities enormously and continues to do so as time goes by. Knowledge on esthetic and poetry has also proved useful when translating information from spanish to english and viceversa, for views and values change from one culture to the other and the choice of words is fundamental. I am interested in jobs that pose a challenge and allow me to use my existing skills while providing experience to develop new ones.
