Corrected resolution of DEM upto 10 meters using remote sensing techniques in 2017 1 - The pilot of automation of wheat procurement system in Tehsil Dunyapur, District, Lodhran', awarded by United Bank Limited, Pakistan. 2- 'Landsat and MODIS EVI/NDVI data products for agricultural measurements in Punjab province of Pakistan', project submitted to British Academy International Partnerships with the collaboration of The University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. 3- Completed a project 'Multi-temporal MODIS (Terra) EVI/NDVI smoothing algorithms and their application to investigate agricultural potential in Konya province of Turkey', awarded by Fatih University, Büyükçekmece, Istanbul. The objectives of this research project include: 4- Identification of vegetation cover and the spatial distribution To analyze the Spatio-Temporal change of vegetation cover Produced MODIS EVI/NDVI smoothing algorithms, February 2000 to February 2010 (composite image; 230 layers) at 16-day intervals having 500 m spatial resolution and 36 bands. Established a field check system for comparing ground measurements with the processed remote Sensed data. 5-Completed a Post-Doctoral research project 'Geoinformatics application to investigate agricultural Potential in Cholistan desert' at the Department of Geography, The University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, awarded by Higher Education Commission, Pakistan. 1- Ortho-rectification of satellite images for UIPT project and super-imposing of GIS layers upon high Resolution image, LDA schemes Lahore. 2- Automation of wheat procurement system of Tehsil Dunyapur, District Lodhran. Developed wheat calculator for yield calculation of each grower. 3- Built-up area extraction of the Punjab province using Landsat 8 satellite image dataset. 4-Extraction of cultivated and cultivatable land in the Punjab province using Landsat 8 satellite image dataset. 5- Illegal encroachment assessment of CDA sectors; C-14, C-15, C-16, D-13, H-16, and I-17, Islamabad. 6- Bahawalpur Master Plan; Image Classification/Temporal Analysis; years 1991, 2000, 2010, and 2014. 7-GPS survey and ground truthing of GIS layers verification for LRMIS (Land Record Management Information System) project of three districts; Lodhran, Hafizabad, and Lahore. 8-Crop classification/crop damages assessment of 16 floods affected districts of the Punjab province - Floods 2014. 9-Preparation of GIS layers for Master Plan of Fort Manro, district D.G. Khan. 10-Preparation of GIS layers for Master Plan of Soon Valley, district Khushab. 11-Preparation of GIS layers for Master Plan of Special Economic Zone. 12-Base-map development of the Punjab province (District Lahore). 13-Illegal encroachment/Change detection assessment for 2005 to 2014, CDA sector G-14 and G-15, Islamabad. 14- Wheat yield estimation of Punjab province at Tehsil level for the year 2015. 15- Crop Classification: ‘Girdawari’ of districts Hafizabad and Lodhran at Khasra Level. 16- Automation of wheat procurement system of Tehsil Dunyapur, District Lodhran for the year of 2015. 17- Base-map development of the Punjab province (District Faisalabad). 18-Crop classification/crop damages assessment of 08 floods affected districts of the Punjab province - Floods 2015. 19- Preparation of GIS layers for Saaf Pani Project, districts Lodhran, Bahawalpur, Bahawal Nagar and Rahim Yar Khan. 20- Developed soil/vegetation/crop suitability indices; Optimized Soil-Adjusted Vegetation Index (OSAVI), Renormalized Difference Vegetation Index (RDVI), and Green Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (GNDVI). 21- Developed the models; Normalized Difference Turbidity Index (NDTI), Normalized Difference Pond Index (NDPI), and Modified Normalized Difference Water Index (MNDWI). 22- Developed a model for calculation the area of flood-water under the thick cloud-cover. 23- Developed a model for forest inventory and the calculation of the height of crown cover. Remote Sensing Project Year 2016 24 - Wheat yield estimation of Punjab province at Tehsil level for the year 2016. GIS PROJECTS • Completed street level network of seven big cities; Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, Haripur and main road network of Pakistan placed in cell phone NOKIA E52 and linked with GPS. It can be useful for routing/exploring shopping centre/library/school/college/hospital/auto fuel/autoservices/food: Asian, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, French, Barbecue, Fast-food, Seafood, Steak/Grill,Bagel/Donut, Pizza and drink/recreation/entertainment/transportation/community service/bank oratm/lodging etc. without GPRS/internet facility.
