EN&SPA Copyeditor and Content Writer

I am Venezuelan and currently residing in Chile, with a major in Political Science and a minor in Hispanic Literature. Even though my first language is Spanish, I've focused the better part of my professional career on English or bilingual writing, having done some work in pop culture-focused journalism and a lot of copywriting for different products and services online, ranging from events to tourism. While my first love is writing in all its forms, I've also done extensive work on EN-SPA and SPA-EN translation, and some in copyediting for different mediums. I thrive on focusing greatly on each project I'm working on, setting time apart for every single thing I'm working on. Last-minute is not my style: I try to get everything done before my deadline, so I can recheck calmly and deliver the best possible results. Aunque mi idioma materno es el castellano, he enfocado buena parte de mi vida profesional a la escritura tanto en inglés como bilingüe; he trabajado en periodismo de cultura pop y, principalmente, como redactora de contenidos para diversos medios web en diversos temas, incluyendo hotelería y eventos. Me apasiona la escritura en todas sus formas, pero también he trabajado extensamente en traducción español-inglés e inglés-español. En proyectos anteriores también he trabajado como correctora de textos en ambos idiomas. Trabajo mejor cuando puedo concentrarme al 100% en cada proyecto que hago, creando tiempo para cada uno.
