If customers are struggling to find you on Google, whether you are brand new and don’t have any online presence or are established and require further assistance, I’ll put you on the map.
**What is the process?**
The first step is to understand everything that you have in mind for your business, what is most valuable to your company, who your clients are and what they need.
The first step is creating an actionable SEO strategy that is tailored to your goals and budget.
This step-by-step plan will show you how to get you to where you are to where you want to be with your business.
The strategy focuses on a few key areas:
- Keyword research to find your best keywords
- Competitor analysis in order to determine what you are up against
- Identifying any (immediate) opportunities for improvement
When all the basics are covered for your website and/or Google Business Profile (formerly known as 'Google My Business'), the next step of the process generally includes website optimization for SEO, improved user experience and engagement (increasing conversion), adding quality content, a mixed link-building strategy and (if local) Google Business Profile optimization, reputation management and ranking strategies.
I will always find a way to make things work, I will be honest if the current system/site you use will provide you with limitations and suggest alternatives/solutions that make sense within the budget or operations of your business.
In the end, I will make sure that you are proud of what you are serving your customers online and get you ranked on Google.
**How did I master my skills?**
Most of my skills were acquired over years of experience, different SEO specialist training courses, and books. It allowed me to build and later become a director of a mostly local SEO agency called 'Leetahand Inc.', together with a business partner.
Search Engine Optimization for local service-based companies is what I specialize in and have been doing for over 6 years now.
However, I have multi-year experience in several business types and sizes, including eCommerce and multi-location companies.
My web design experience is mostly with WordPress, but I also have experience with Weebly, Squarespace and a custom eCommerce fashion platform called ‘NextChapter’. Meaning that in many situations I can manage these platforms myself if required/requested whilst doing SEO work.
WordPress is my content management system of choice, and I have the most experience with (non-eCommerce) Elementor, Beaver Builder and WP Bakery builders.
The ‘Leetahand’ saga is still on-going and my solo adventure my own agency 'Bouma Consulting Inc.', which was created to broaden my opportunities in different fields that require local, eCommerce or nationwide SEO.
**Who am I?**
My international communications Bachelor background and entrepreneurial family makes it easier for me to place myself in the shoes of a business owner.
