Content Writing/Social Media Management/VA Support

Highly Motivated, with over 30 years of success in the business and creative industries. Excellent people skills, smart, reliable, creative professional with a tireless commitment to exceed client expectations. I have been a VA since 2017 and enjoy the variety of the projects as well as the diversity of the clients. Most of my VA work is creative, but I’ll break down my strengths (in no particular order… except writing/editing. It’s what I was born to do.) 1. Copy/Content Writing: I was in sales and marketing for over 30 years and have been a professional writer for the last 10; which means I'm a natural copywriter. I've created short Calls-to-Action, tag-lines, social media posts, bios, website copy, sales pages, eblasts, blogs/articles, video scripts, press releases, presentations, packaging copy and brochures/booklets. I’m also a gifted editor and have never had an unsatisfied client in this arena; which I find especially gratifying, because I’ve worked with college professors, computer scientists and professional authors. 2. Manage social media sites and web pages: I manage over a dozen clients, and find or create social media content to post to multiple platforms; using SocialBee, Buffer, or Hootsuite. These are daily posts, which are scheduled a month at a time. I also work with Constant Contact and Convert Kit, to design and schedule newsletters and eblasts. In addition, I’ve managed several WordPress accounts for the purpose of posting blogs and graphics to web pages. For video posts, I edit – to eliminate unnecessary content - with ScreenCastify. 3. Graphic Design: As an “armchair” graphic designer, Canva is the platform of choice for designing social media posts, brochures, presentations, book layouts, etc. I’ve also created PowerPoint presentations, Google Slides, and more. 4. Research: I’m very good at discovering the exact type of information clients are looking for. I attribute this to gaining a full understanding of my clients, by asking pertinent questions that, in the end, means lower billable hours and quality, over quantity, information. Clients are usually blown away by the results that are delivered, but there may be a little fine-tuning during the beginning stages. 5. Consulting and Critiques: Odd category, I know. But I have an excellent eye for what's NOT working. I've offered feedback on business plans, graphic design, websites, and countless other things. This one comes with a warning. I'm brutally honest. Not rude, but I don't pull any punches, and… I've never lost a client who contracts me for this. I tend to see things other people miss, and have a "sixth sense," about what audiences will respond to. *Samples available upon request.
