I'm a seasoned Electronics Engineer with 12 years experience in the industry. I have taken many product designs from inception, to prototypes, and through to mass production, and I can help you with what is important at each step.
My electronic product design company is based in Bristol, UK, and has an office / lab full of the tools and test equipment needed for all stages of design, assembly, and testing. I like to do a task well and get it right the first time!
I have experience in a wide range fields;
- Circuit & Product design
- PCB Schematic & Layout (I've used KiCAD for 3yrs and OrCAD for 5yr before that + others)
- Firmware & Coding (in particular Zephyr RTOS and Nordic nRF Connect SDK)
- Circuit simulation / LTspice
- EMC & Safety compliance
- Designing for Product Enclosures
- Production Test design
- 3D printing & CAD models
- varied others (other mechanical tasks, matlab, VHDL, Labview, lots of software languages etc)
