Communications Consultant & Project Manager

As a freelance communications consultant specializing in nonprofits and small businesses, I am able to draw on my considerable experience with nonprofit project management and communications development to work for a variety of causes and organizations that are close to my heart. Over the past five years, I have worked with several small nonprofit organizations in both full-time and freelance capacities. Throughout my tenure, I have had the opportunity to develop and implement robust programming plans and national communications campaigns. I have generated and formatted dozens of impactful written resources, including articles, press releases, social media content, blogs, reports, and more. Utilizing my design skills, I have created engaging communications content, including graphics, GIFs, and videos, for numerous platforms and audiences – several of which have gone viral. I have also managed social media accounts and increased the online engagement of multiple organizations, both large and small. Like the late Civil Rights hero Rep. John Lewis, I believe in “good trouble” – when I observe something that is not just, I am always driven to action. I enjoy applying my skills to help drive attention to social problems and public policy issues, and I have had the privilege of seeing my work make a difference. I am always on the lookout for new opportunities, especially those in which I can help to generate “good trouble” by making use of my expertise to increase awareness about important causes and bring about change. If your organization or small business is interested in hiring a consultant or needs freelance help with projects, please check out my portfolio and contact me.
