Primary School Teacher, Zoologist, Safari Company Operations Manager

I pride myself on being an extremely organised, proactive, self-motivated person. While living in Uganda I have set up a wildlife sanctuary charity, managed a boutique hotel for nearly three years and was operations manager for a safari company. Previous to that I worked as a conservation and education outreach manager for an NGO in a more rural setting. For the time preceding this I spent seven years teaching in the UK where I was consistently rated as good to outstanding. I gained many skills that are transferable to a variety of situations such as working to deadlines, interacting and communicating with a diverse range of people, being able to plan and assess different types of work, inputting and analysing data and having a good focus on attention to detail. I work very well in a team or individually, am a problem solver and I am adept in conflict management. I am well suited to a variety of tasks and duties and am completely IT literate. I have experience managing finance and training databases. I am a hands-on and ultra-efficient individual who would enthusiastically approach any roles offered.
