"It was an experiment for me, to see if those blackhat linkbuilding tactics still work in 2020. It appears that they are not. I haven't seen any real improvement in positions with such link building that this freelancer provided. We've worked for 3 months and the traffic didn't increased at all. So $1k investment totally didn't worth it for me. I've also expected that freelancer would try to change something in the way he builds links, after first so-so results. But not that much changed. Same websites, same techniques, one week after another. So I decided to cancel this because more than $1k investment didn't worth it for me, except DR (Domain Rating) has actually increased. But the goal was to improve positions in top-10 to get some traffic and return something back from that investment."
