The translation jobs I have done include technical and financial document, business presentation, application localization, business contract, training material, marketing campaign, and website content. Mainly as a matter of offering translation consistency to my clients, I developed my skills in different CAT tools, such as Wordfast, Trados, Across, and MemSource. These tools help me to deliver high quality in translating texts for my clients. Also, I am up to date as for the ISO 17100 (the new standard for companies within the translation industry, and successor to EN 15038). In the past, I served as a consultant and principal at companies like Gemini Consulting, PwC Consulting, and IBM, where three official languages were spoken: English, Portuguese, French and Spanish, and I developed part of my language skills in these enterprises, besides the regular education on schools like Berlitz, EF, and Cel Lep. My formal translation education was performed through the Translation Course by Logos, the Italian school. CAT-Tools: SDL Trados 2019, MemoQ, Transit (Star), Translation Workspace Editor.
