Business Improvement and Retail Operations Specialist

I am an experienced Mid/Senior Management Professional with a demonstrated history of working within the telecommunications industry. Skilled in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Account Management, Business Development, Regional Marketing, Strategy, Telecommunications and strong Commercial Sales experience. My core functions were largely aimed at executing business strategy, ensuring that regional business plans were implemented and ensuring stringent alignment with the corporate strategy on product & services offering. This included the establishment, development and management of new business opportunities and relationships in new areas of focus in order to drive additional streams. Highest company owned store growth of 63% YoY. • Formed part of a team with 100% employee retention achieved with zero attrition 2019, 2020. • In 2019 my team achieved Platinum engagement scores with higher engagement ratings than the commercial area and the company. • Launched over 60 Cell C Stores during my tenure which included business plans and financial modelling. • Through detailed analysis regarding business operations, business management and performance, I successfully drove cost down with key regional initiatives with cost savings in excess of 20% per annum and ensured that Stock discrepancies was less than 0.03% in 2019 and 2020. • In having the ability to work alone but also ensure delivery through collaboration with others where necessary, I teamed up with my direct line manager in Creating an Employee Engagement Survey which we rolled out to the entire business in order to support the HR department. The survey was unique to the business in that it was perfected aligned to both Company Strategy and Company Values. • Developed and Implemented a Performance Improvement Programme within the Commercial Space with was adopted by the rest of the business and written into process by Compliance and HR in support of Change management to drive and support continuous improvement. • My regional business unit (including stores) achieved internal auditing scores of 98% for 2019 which was the highest score nationally. • As a Driver for Change, I was recognised as a Subject Matter Expert within the business and supported both the National Compliance Manager and the Learning and Development Team between 2017 and 2021 in crafting new content and ensuring that all existing material was relevant to the business.
