HTML5/CSS3/D3.js Front End Dev, PHP/MySQL/Python Back End Dev

I started my web development career in the late 90s working at the James Madison University media lab coding web sites for university departments and the Mine Action Group whose goal is to defuse/destroy leftover mines in war torn countries. After graduation (2001), I accepted an offer at Capital One Financial building out internal web applications along with customer facing pages. Working for a startup turned Fortune 500 company, I learned a ton about business relationships and the corporate world in general, but realized after 8 years it was time for a change to build a company of my own from the ground up. In 2010 I began freelancing full time and haven't looked back since. Over the years I have worked on literally 100s of projects growing my skillset along the way. From building custom PHP/MySQL applications, to Python application builds, WordPress custom sites/applications and coding unique designs into pixel perfect, responsive HTML5/CSS3/JS. If you have a design (XD, AI, PSD, Sketch, Figma, etc.) and need it turned into a static site, parallax scrolling landing page, fun interactive D3.js chart or more complex application build; feel free to contact me and I shall bring your design to life on the web for the world to see.
