I possess an extensive professional experience of about 9 years specialising in banking industry analysis, financial modelling and valuation. I am adept at identifying new business opportunities, leveraging my expertise in analytical and benchmarking capabilities and thus deducing insights from massive sets of data. In addition to my technical capabilities, I have also honed my project management/people management skills in the recent few years. In my most recent venture, I was with State Street Bank’s Corporate Strategy team as an Assistant Vice President. I revamped the entire operating model of the bank’s Asset Owner business and significantly improved the clients’ outlook on the business. It was an initiative with visibility at the bank’s Executive Committee level and was widely appreciated for the results realized in a short turn-around time (about 7-9 months). Before this I was an Assistant Manager at Ernst & Young LLP, Bengaluru working as a banking analyst. Formerly I worked as a Senior Credit Research Analyst at CRISIL Global Research & Analytics (IREVNA), Chennai. While I have hands-on working experience in analytical tools like R, SPSS, I’m also well-versed in databases like Spotfire, Bloomberg, DataStream, and Thomason Eikon. I have performed exceedingly well in the processes that I have been a part of. I am also eminently professional and aim to keep up the standards of the industry. Below are a few of my key responsibilities: Assessed the current quality of service delivery provided to clients, identify process/people/technology gaps and remediate the same for better client experience Suggested an improved operating model that will sustain the above enhancements as a BAU Built analytical models using tools like SPSS and R and inferred actionable insights for clients. Supported key banking accounts and their strategic initiatives to identify new business opportunities for the firm. Responsible for the development and execution of strategic thought leadership and market insight initiatives to clients. Work closely with sector leadership to provide thought provoking content and help my firm differentiate itself in the market place. Carried out real-time and incremental company specific analysis using customized excel models and databases Studied the debt and capital structure of the banks, the nature of the financial instruments issued.
