I have taught Advanced Placement High School Social Studies for the past 20 years. I have also taught Political Science at the community college level for most of that time as well During my career, I have created content and curriculum for 5 different AP courses, as well as three different community college political science courses. I have taught online, face-to-face, and distance learning courses in which I have had to create my own content- syllabi, reading passages, assignments, PowerPoints, exams, blog posts, discussion questions, and a variety of activities for both online and classroom settings.
I am well-educated and well-read. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame with a double major in Political Science and History. I have a masters degree from the University of Kansas where I had a 3.9 cumulative GPA. I completed my comprehensive exams for a Ph.D. with high honors before leaving to teach full time.
I enjoy writing and research online and have been working on a blog for the past year. I have a lot of experience grading papers and editing written work both for my students and colleagues. I am noted by both my students and colleagues as someone who writes well and helps others improve their writing skills.
I have a broad range of interests but am particularly focused on political science, economics, US history, and world history. I also have an interest in philosophy and science, particularly with regard to their application to contemporary social and moral issues.

My client wanted "a fun, informal, and value-packed DSST study guide for the "History of the Soviet Union" exam." The project required summaries of content for an established outline and sample questions like those that would appear on the exam.
This was an extensive post from the 2016 presidential election campaign documenting Trump's many ethical failures during his life.
