Freelance Writer and Spanish/English Translator

I am a native English speaker from Chicago, Illinois. For the past 11 years I have lived in Central America working with non-profit international development agencies. Currently I work as a freelance writer specializing in online article writing, blog writing, and Spanish/English translation. I also offer my services as a independent development consultant and grant writer for non-profit organizations. I have B.A. in History from Western Kentucky University and a Masters degree in Rural, Community Development from the Universidad Martín Luter King in Managua Nicaragua. I currently live with my family in El Salvador where in my free time I work on our organic farm, write for the Huffington Post, and teach English.
