Translator/Proofreader (EN-JP)

Professional Experiences as Translator and proofreader: Language proofreader/editor (JP-EN, EN-JP) (*Project-based) January/2014 to Present • Proofreading the translated documents according to the clients’ with the language glossary to meet their standard. The categories are: Retail, Social media, Auto-industry, Medical and among the others. • Translation and proofreading of a great variety of ISO standard and marketing related texts under highest quality standards, proofreading and reviewing of translations in context mostly done by using Microsoft office suits. On-site Japanese teacher (JP-EN, Basic NL-JP) Private (*one-to-one) • Teach basic level of Japanese both writing and conversational, weekly and bi-weekly held privately in relaxed atmosphere. • Teaching method: Finding the interest of the student, so learning experience can be correlated with based on the student interest, so that the motivation to learn can be more achieved. On-site interpreter (JP-EN, EN-JP) • Accompany with native Japanese clients to realise their projects with their English spoken clients on site: task requires high level of interpretation skill from Japanese to English and vice versa. Quick simultaneous understanding of both languages and high communication skill are critical to support and meet clients’ needs.
