Content Writer & Social Media Manager

Hey, I'm Ella. A couple of years ago I left my hospitality career behind and pursued a freelance career in social media, content and marketing. And I couldn't be happier! I have gained so much experience over the past 18 months from working both in-house and with an agency as a social media manager along with content creation, copywriting, proofreading, email marketing, SEO and website updates. I am pursuing continued professional development and have recently graduated from Udacity's Digital Marketing nanodegree to learn new skills I can apply to future work and compliment my university degree in Communication. I'm reliable, enthusiastic and pride myself on my organisational skills and high attention to detail. I have excellent communication skills both written and verbal which have been developed by writing several high-grade essays for my degree and through my content writing experience. I am extremely comfortable using computer software including Microsoft Office and Google Suite as well as managing calendars, emails and social media. I have a fairly large social media following and know how to appeal to an audience. Travel is a big passion of mine and I not only enjoy exploring new locations, but the logistics that goes into details and itineraries, and I worked for over a year as an Independent Travel Agent. I strive to stay on top of all my tasks whilst working with precision, meeting deadlines, and am always keen to learn and build on my skills.
