Hello! My name is Jenae Bluhm (she/her) and I am a sexual health and safety researcher, educator, and creative content specialist. I have a Master's degree from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and I am a provisional Certified Family Life Educator.
I am passionate about preventing sexual violence and providing education on consent, sexual violence prevention, and safer sex practices. I do much my prevention and education work through my Instagram account, @birdsandbeesask.me, where I work as the account administrator and research consultant; I am also the creative content specialist and design quite a few of my posts on Canva.
I have had the opportunity to guest lecture in various university settings, do book reviews, and be a guest on podcasts related to my sexual health and safety expertise. I also have experience with a variety of research methods and data analysis/visualization approaches: I am most experienced with SPSS and I am developing familiarity with R Studio. I am also proficient in researching information - I can just about find a needle in a haystack!
