Liya D.

I’m a volunteer translator of the United Nations and an experienced TED Talks translator with over 30 videos translated between English and Mandarin in various fields. As a China-born-Mongolian, I value efficiency & accuracy most when I translate. I lived in Canada for six years, finished my second bachelor’s degree in Economics and Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting. Meanwhile, I worked as a fulfillment manager for the largest department store in Canada for over 5 years, successfully improved the fulfill rate of my branch from 73.2%(2017) to 92.3%(2021) and made the fulfillment Dept. of my branch ranked No.3 among 94 branches  of the whole company. In November 2021, I came back to China for a job offer working as an Oversea Market Specialist in a medical device company, focusing on North America market research, and I'm also responsible for the communication between the Chinese production team and the German R&D team on product details and market trends&demand.
