Hi there! I’m Nathan, a full stack website developer from New Zealand. I’ve been working in the industry for just over 7 years now. The majority of this time has been spent in a small bespoke web agency. Throughout the years I have worked on a wide range of projects using a number of different tech solutions. These include, but are not limited to WordPress, SilverStripe, Vue.js, Node.js. All of these stacks require proficient knowledge of the underlying web foundations such as HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript & jQuery. Whilst I have a strong background in Web Development, I also equally value my ability to clearly communicate and build strong relationships with clients. I’m not simply a developer who is in the backroom coding. I play a role in finding technical solutions that wrap around the context of your business but also relay technical information back to the team in language that ensures everyone is in sync with the project. You may be after a customisation to an existing project, require advice on how to approach a particular technical situation, or would like a custom web application. I will listen to your requirements and begin a conversation that will outline how I can meet your expectations and deliver in a timely manner. My skills are listed below: - PHP - WordPress Core (Theme Development, Plugin development, bug fixing) - JavaScript, jQuery - MySQL, phpMyAdmin - SilverStripe - Vue.js - Connecting API’s to existing web applications - Developing API’s for third parties to connect to your application - HTML5 - CSS / SaSS - Caching & Speed improvements. - Git (version control) - Bootstrap, Foundation, Vuetify (responsive design frameworks) - Web Hosting and DNS. (I can host your website and maintain the server for you) If I’m not coding, you’ll find me knocking a football around or researching Web 3.0.
