"Disappointed. Brandi has a lot of ability. I thought I had finally found an expert that I could rely on and send my clients to. However,upon reflection, Brandi has little time for people that are not knowledgeable in her area of expertise, and is impatient with them. I recommend you Be extremely clear in your directions and how you create the milestones as my experience was that Brandi will do the minimum work and expect payment prior to her completing tasks. On the whole, should have, and could have been a mutually beneficial relationship, I did get value for my investment, but on the whole entirely underwhelmed. Considered recommending her to my students due to her impressive skills, but on reflection, decided against it due to her minimalistic effort put in to reach the first milestone."

"Unfortunately, the client's assessment isn't accurate. There were a total of 4 milestones for this campaign. The first was funded and released after our initial meeting. The second was to be released after significant progress was made on the project. I passed this second milestone and was well on my way to completing the project and, with the exception of the initial milestone, no others had been funded. I do not expect payment prior to completing tasks- the client refused to fund and release the second milestone so I stopped working until we were able to meet and discuss progress. After our progress meeting ended, he agreed to immediately release the funds. He did not. As a courtesy, I waited two days until I contacted him again about releasing the funds. After that contact, he finally did. The client’s perceived lack of impatience on my part is due to the following: 1.) He continually asked for out of scope work and was denied. 2.) He contacted me on a Sunday asking for out of scope advice for something he needed the next day and was denied. 3.) He was unable to correctly convert Australian time to EDT and sent an invitation for a meeting at the wrong time. He subsequently became irritated because I showed up at the time shown on the invite he sent and he showed up an hour later. I go way above and beyond for my clients, but his continual request for out of scope was unreasonable. I've never been classified as one who does minimal work to get by. I've had 7 years of no negative feedback on Elance/Upwork and this project tanked my approval rating. My gut told me not to accept this project initially simply because I felt this client would never be satisfied with anything. My gut was correct, but I went against it and agreed to do the project. Lesson learned."
