In the academic year of 2017-18, I studied as an exchange student in the U.S. under the KL-YES (Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study) Scholarship sponsored by the United States of America Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. During my period of study there, I gave a lot of presentations about the culture of India, took part in conferences and contributed towards 100 hours of community service. I was recognized by the State Department for the same. This exchange made me well versed in understanding cross-cultural relations, team building, public speaking and helped me build a lot of friendships across the globe. I try to study different courses to better my skills and participate in extra-curricular activities to understand the different dynamics of working in a team.
