Automotive Engineering & Technology, Industrial & Quality Engineering

I started my automotive career at 16 years old by demonstrating my solid work ethic as a lot attendant at one of the biggest used car dealerships in Wisconsin. Eager for hands-on experience, at 17 I took a summer job as a shop hand at a diesel repair garage. At 18, my experience earned me a role at Bergstrom Lexus of Appleton, one of the most recognizable Lexus dealerships in the United States. While working as a full-time detailer, I funded 100% of my education and earned an Associates of Applied Science in Automotive Technology - Imports. After one semester of school, I was promoted by the Bergstrom dealership to a B-Level service technician. Unfortunately, I had to leave Lexus during the summer of 2019 when I moved to Michigan to work on my Bachelor of Science in Automotive Engineering Technology at Ferris State University. Recently graduating with my Bachelor of Science in Automotive Engineering Technology (and certificates in Quality Technology and Performance Motorsports), I have completed my co-op internship as a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op Intern with Oshkosh Defense and am continuing as a Process Engineer with the Advanced Engineering team. One of my most notable accomplishments within my crisp professional career is that I have won an Oshkosh Excellence Award for my work in creating a test for the JLTV's suspension system. This test would later be passed on and used within other Oshkosh Corporation products.
