I am a post graduate in science (zoology) in 1994 from Vir Kunwar Singh University, Ara in Bihar(India). I started my career as a child rights activist under a noted Human Rights activists in India Mr. Kailash Satiarthi and worked 6 years (2000 to 2006) with him. In 2007 joined a tourism Company and got opportunity to work with thousands of volunteers and interns in India from abroad. From 2013 and until now I am working with Jaipur Rugs Foundation to socially and educationally empower women-hand-knotting-rugs artisans. My job role is to - 1. To connect the rural artisans to international customers through their inspirational stories 2. To educate them and connect to government social security schemes 3. To provide to functional literacy those who are illiterate 4. To provide health-care opportunities at their door-steps through partnership building Recently I have signed up Upwork platform to explore additional earning opportunity using my experiences and expertise as a language translator. I am a native Hindi speaker and most of the time doing my professional assignments in English. Thus doing translation from Hindi to English and vice versa will be a fun for me. I do hope that my clients will get better experience and job satisfaction offering me projects.
