This was an independent project. The objective of the project was to build a classification model that determines whether or not a patient's symptoms indicate that they may have hypothyroidism. The decision tree was used to create the baseline model, which was optimized by using a random forest for feature selection and gradient boost for optimized model performance. Python (Scikit-Learn library) was used for this project.
