Hello! I am an architectural designer and 3D modeling technician. My areas of knowledge include drafting, conceptual drawing, 3D modeling, rendering, and project managing. I primarily use Revit and AutoCAD for any modeling or drafting and Adobe Photoshop for image editing. I have some skill in Autodesk 3DS Max and Sketch Up as well. After graduating with my bachelors, I spent a year working in a curtain wall construction company. My primary task was to create shop drawings for the parts of the curtain wall to be manufactured. I now work in a residential architecture design firm where are I am not only the draftsman for the construction documents, but also the project manager. I coordinate with the client, their general contractor, our engineer, and any one who is involved with the project. I am also working on my masters and am scheduled to graduate this December. I want to combine my technical knowledge and design skills to provide my clients with efficient project completion and satisfaction.

I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2007 with a BFA in Visual Communications: Illustration. We were required to be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, and I had graphic design project requirements to complete my major. Since then, the majority of my work has been in graphic design rather than illustration. My specific training and talent allows me to create completely custom work for my clients, rather than using stock graphics should the project benefit from it. I've done a number of logos, and am proficient in many aspects of branding. (My parents are marketing professors, and it seems like I should get an honorary degree in it from dinner conversations over the years.) I am used to freelancing and working remotely, so I'm able to glean necessary information from remote clients quickly even in limited contact circumstances. While I've mainly been working in the graphics arena, I have completed some illustrative projects requiring some expertise other than simply my rendering talent (in addition to drawing for custom graphic projects). For example, I've been drawing a series of portraits of gangsters from degraded microfilm, which requires some anatomical knowledge to recreate their faces as a complete image. For illustrations, I typically work in ink, graphite, and fluid acrylics (similar to watercolor).
