For a modern business, the internet is an important part of everyday life. Whether you need to show off your latest product or service, get new customers, or keep in touch with old ones, having a website that gives a great first impression can be challenging. I help businesses stand out from their competition by building custom websites and landing pages that are both aesthetically appealing and highly functional, so you can make an excellent first impression and provide an extremely high-quality experience to your website visitors. My 3 Phases of Website Conception Phase 1: Research & Content Development This is where we start to develop the strategy and branding of your new site. We'll take all that time you spent answering my questions about what you want out of a website and put it into action! This step provides me with the information I need to craft a design that accurately represents your values while achieving your principal goals. Phase 2: Design & Development I will create the visual design for your website and submit it for approval before starting to develop. Once I receive approval, we will start building out my designs into a fully-functioning site using Webflow. Phase 3: Optimization & Launch Your new website will soon be live! I'll make sure it's optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile following industry best practices, ensuring a high level of accessibility and usability. Finally, we'll connect a custom domain name and hosting plan to launch your site. I am always here for my clients and will provide you with all the support that you need. And if you ever need any kind of ongoing support or consultation, I'm just a message away.Accessibility

I always remember to code with empathy! My interest in software starts with a love of media and an unwavering desire to learn and keep on learning. I decided to take a deep dive into the fundamentals of computer science and software development and loved what I found. This is why I decided to become a Developer. For the past few years, I have worked as a front-end developer specializing in HTML, CSS and Javascript for mobile web. Looking forward, I have decided to broaden my skill set into the Full Stack, studying PHP, Java, and Full-Stack Javascript Application Development (including ES6). Lately, I have been focusing on development of single page applications with React.js and Redux. Do you have a development team who knows how to code but need a UX designer to lead a project to success? I have a signature 6 step process to take the business and user goals and transform them into an intuitively designed software with the bonus of working closely with your development team. Phase 1 - Requirements and Research Gathering - Gather data - Understand business requirements and goals - Marketing goals - Functionality goals - Long term and short term business goals - User Insight - Interviews and feedback from users teaches us what we need to pay attention to, this can provide guidance in the design process. - Build relevant user stories and create a priority system.. For example, "As a user, I want to book a home inspection." These stories drive the design and development focus of the website. We want to tie each visitor story to a user journey. Phase 2 - Information Architecture Phase - Organize the structure and content tailored for end users. Potential for card sorting or similar research methods to understand how users group information together. Much of this work will be directed from phase 1. Phase 3 - Design Phase Turning stories into designs. This design phase can go hand-in-hand with an early testing phase. I can create low and/or high fidelity mockups to run user-testing scenarios with. Deliverables from me: High and/or Low Fidelity Mockups (Figma or Balsamiq Prototypes) Phase 4 - Early Testing Phase This is a possible early testing phase that can be utilized if we aren't sure how well a design will perform. This is where we can test placement, layout, wording, colors, etc for early data without development time. We can do testing here ahead of development so that development time is not wasted. Deliverables from me: Creation, running, and analysis of usability tests Revisions to design based on data Phase 5 - Development Phase Share designs with development for implementation. Often I'll work directly with them through a hand-off meeting to sort out any technical questions or feedback. Design review to ensure the build is working as intended. Deliverables from me: Design documentation + meeting Optional design review document that includes fixes for developers Phase 6 - Usability Testing Phase After development is complete, we can run usability tests to see how well the interface is working and if users are able to easily complete the top stories we created in phase 1. This phase of usability testing can be pricey if we use paid tools. I've run usability testing with internal employees to avoid the extra costs. Deliverables from me: Creation, running, and analysis of usability tests Recommendations for any revisions to website based on tests I am ready to take the UX process and project management off your hands and lead your next software design to success.Accessibility

I'm a Principal Architect and seasoned JavaScript developer with over 20 years of experience designing and building for the web. My current focus is on modern front-end technologies like Vue, Nuxt, Node.js, and Tailwind, where I combine deep technical expertise with product thinking and a strong sense of user experience. In my role, I set and evolve technical direction across systems, balancing scalability, maintainability, and velocity. I lead architectural decision-making, establish coding standards, and mentor engineers, all while ensuring our software aligns with real user needs and long-term business goals. But I go beyond technical leadership: - I actively participate in and contribute to product discovery and vision building. - I help translate abstract ideas into tangible, human-centered software. - I bridge gaps between engineering, design, and product teams to create aligned, effective outcomes. I care deeply about clean and maintainable systems—but I’ve also been around long enough to weigh that pragmatically against business realities. A beautifully architected system is meaningless if the company can’t afford to market it. I strive to deliver value and outcomes, not just elegance. My work is driven by a simple belief: good software comes from clarity of purpose, a solid foundation, and a team that knows where it's going.Accessibility
