Hi there, I'm an enthusiastic motion designer, animator and illustrator with a rich background in bringing visuals to life. My creative journey began in Beijing, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Animation from the Communication University of China in 2009. After building a strong foundation and gaining valuable experience in animation, I moved to Brooklyn in 2015 to pursue a Master of Arts in Motion Arts at Pratt Institute. From 2019 until 2023, I enjoyed working with AD Lubow LLC in NYC and freelancing, where I dived into projects like Barnard College’s Annual Fund Promo 2021 and Holiday Greeting Video 2020, focusing on visual development, storyboarding, and motion design. Working on meaningful animations such as "Greta Thunberg: A Climate for Change" was particularly rewarding. Before my time at AD Lubow, I served as a Lead Concept Artist & Illustrator at Encantos Media Studio PBC. I was thrilled to contribute to the Emmy-nominated "Canticos Nick Jr Season 2" and illustrated the enchanting "Tiny Travelers Treasure Quest" book series. My role as a Motion Designer at IdeaMACHINE Studio allowed me to create exciting graphics for brands like Trader Joe’s and Microsoft. Throughout my career, I've been honored with accolades including Best Film at the Imagine This Women’s Girl Power Film Media Summit 2019 for "Break the Fire," and Best Animation at the 13th NYC Downtown Short Film Festival for "The Blue Butterfly." In 2023, I took a pause from my career to start a family, embracing a new chapter in life. Now, I'm eager to re-enter the professional world with renewed energy and continue crafting stories that delight and inspire. Using tools like Photoshop, After Effects, and Cinema 4D, I’m excited to explore new creative horizons in animation and design.
