I'm an American artist currently living in Indonesia. Its a wonderful country, and I'm surrounded by beautiful culture and inspiration everyday. I've been drawing and painting since I was a child but have recently decided to try and make my passion my full time job. I'm a self trained artist well versed in traditional acrylic and oil painting, but I have also recently specialized in digital work. I know Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator well, and now often use the iPad Pro with Procreate to simulate a Photoshop digital painting experience. Digital work also makes it easier to get the images I create to my customers as I can easily share them through email, or Dropbox. I think I'm most passionate about portrait painting. Capturing the mood and complexities of the human face has always been an interesting challenge. I also love sequential art, like drawing for comic books. Art that tells a story is always a powerful medium. Making logos and design work is also fun. Finding the right image that simultaneously catches someone's eye and has a message is really rewarding work. Before moving to Indonesia I worked several customer service jobs most notably at Delta Airlines, where I would solve peoples problems and book their flights. I bring that customer service mentality to my work here. If you work with me I think you will find me personable and easy to talk to. Most importantly, I realize that my work here isn't about what I want (though I'm sure some of my artistic sensibilities are bound to come through) but what you want for your illustration or design. I have always loved art in many forms. I started working as a videographer for sonrise multimedia and advanced to their editing team in a short time thanks to my love of learning. I branched out to photography studying under some of the other photographers at the company until I eventually branched out on my own. Then I joined a family business at snap cray shows/fairs and began designing logos and signs for us and other small businesses we met at the shows.
