Starting college, genetic engineering was my passion, but I couldn't stand the idea of a company or university owning my intellectual property outright after I had worked so hard on it. So I decided I needed to open my own genetic engineering lab. Not surprisingly, I didn't have the money for such an endeavor, but being the age of the mobile app, and seeing how profitable a well-made app could be, I decided software development would be a stepping stone towards my lab. For a couple of years, I just compiled ideas and continued with my genetic engineering major. Then in February 2016, with no programming background, I started developing my first app. I dropped everything I was doing, school included. 14 hours a day, and a year and a half later, I was a competent Android, iOS, and web-infrastructure engineer. It's been some time since then, and mobile app development — primarily iOS — has been my sole focus ever since. I've come a long way and have gotten to the point where my time is best spent developing my own ideas rather than taking up employment at Big Tech. That said, developers got to eat too, so while my passion project is still in development (mobile app), I've decided to take up freelancing to make a living; for both the extraordinary people and projects it affords me the opportunity to get involved with.Amazon Relational Database ServiceFull-Stack DevelopmentSQLAmazon EC2Amazon RDSAWS LambdaAmazon S3iOSAndroidAmazon Web ServicesPostgreSQLSwiftUIKitMobile App DevelopmentJavaNative App Development - $65 hourly
