As a freelancer I am beginning at entry level. I do not accept off site interviews. My skills are at my disposal and will only continue to grow in help with your participation as a client. To discuss a few of my skills, here is a quick backstory. In high school, I use to write poetry primarily but very much enjoyed written reports. During my time at school I had 12 poems published to a book that holds an annual competition among the counties schools. After school I went into the industry of construction as I never dreamed that I could use my writing as a career. I spent 15 years in that trade and excelled from laborer to superintendent. I learned professionalism, punctuality, extreme eye for detail. I learned basic report input and data collection. I learned how to create schedules and management guides to accomplish said schedules. I learned proper customer etiquette. I learned how to be faced with overwhelming tasks and conquer them. I learned how to take criticism and critique my interests and give a customer a product they deserve. When I wasn't working hours from home I was also raising a family of 6. With the help of my wife, I still had to learn skills over the years such as creative punctuality, ad lib, role playing, joke telling, and many other countless skills to entertain ages ranging from 0-16 exclusively. Aside from these two major roles in my life, I continued to write as a hobby in my spare time. Around the age of 20, I was published in a magazine called The Poetry Guild. Though my hobbies were poetry and the occasional short story, I would always be interested in various styles of writings and tried to match my creativity with those whom I enjoyed reading. I would very much like to apply these skills to this new career in which I am now embarking. I would very much enjoy an opportunity to combine my love for writing and creating content with your ideas and projects to create a final piece of work that all can be satisfied with.Article RewritingProofreadingArticle SpinningConstruction ManagementArticle WritingSports WritingBiography WritingFantasyPoetryHistoryEssay Writing - $20 hourly

I am an American currently living in Durham, North Carolina. I got started on Upwork while living overseas for 4+ years, primarily in India and southeast Asia. At that time I did freelancing as an editor and writer in a wide variety of areas including travel, spirituality, and brand marketing. Since returning to the US I took a job as an administrative assistant at UNC Chapel Hill and now serve as a project manager there. I managed five executives simultaneously, upgraded an onboarding program for faculty, managed recruitment efforts, scheduled meetings, arranged travel, and generally worked to make my executives look good and make their lives easier. I have completed an online admin assistant course at perfectpa.com and am currently studying for my CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management). Additionally I have an editing certificate from Cengage Learning and I have completed courses with the online education site, Lynda.com. I am an arranger by nature. I see work tasks as a chess board. My superpower is being able to look several moves ahead to anticipate problems and solve them before they arise. I look at each step in the tasks assigned to me and find the most efficient way forward. I'm fast, accurate, and easy to work with.Article RewritingArticle SpinningManagement SkillsChicago Manual of StyleMicrosoft OfficeProofreadingCustomer ServiceContent WritingTravel & Hospitality - $30 hourly

Writing, for me, is an act of passion – a creative journey where ideas come to life. My primary commitment is to ensure client satisfaction at every step of this journey. The secret? A keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the subject at hand. A bland, lifeless text doesn't just bore readers, it wastes opportunities. To create an impact, one needs content that sparks curiosity, delivers valuable insights, and resonates with the reader's world. And that's precisely what I aim to provide in every project I undertake. When I am entrusted with a document to refine, I don't merely tweak words or phrases. I delve into its core structure, evaluating and enhancing its flow, clarity, and reader engagement. I firmly believe it's not about how many words we use, but how effectively we use them. After all, the real magic lies in quality, not quantity. In an era of machine-generated content, I'm proud to offer the human touch. My writing doesn't echo the monotonous drone of an instruction manual; it carries the heartbeat of a writer who is deeply connected with the content and the audience. So, if you're looking for writing that truly stands out, resonates with your readers, and showcases the heart behind your message, let's start this creative journey together. I promise you a partnership that values quality over quantity, passion over indifference, and above all, your satisfaction above everything else.Article RewritingArticle SpinningBlockchainTechnical WritingAcademic WritingReport WritingWebsite CopywritingLanding PageWebsite ContentProduct DescriptionContent WritingCopywritingSEO WritingArticle WritingBlog WritingEbook Writing - $20 hourly
