    After a liberal arts experience as an undergraduate, I, like many others, struggled to find footing in the professional sector. I transitioned into what I like to call liberal arts work, but I didn't find much that I could call satisfying or fulfilling. Landing on positions that kept my writing, thinking, and analyzing skills sharp, I still found myself wanting work that engaged those muscles more than just in passing. After ten years in the service industry and another three in a corporate office, I realized that I had talents for communication, writing, and critical thinking. From my background in analytical thinking and reasoning in philosophy, to experience in multicultural awareness through religious studies, I developed a skill for writing in many forms. This skill started in academia but was developed rigorously in a variety of professional settings. Customer service and sales are almost entirely communications-based, and even an office setting revolves almost wholly around clearly expressing ideas through different departments. Now, I am looking to advance my career in a more fulfilling way by pursuing entrepreneurship as a freelance writer and proofreader while also leveraging exactly those skills to best help others communicate. My specializations in efficiently communicating will help achieve results across whatever audience might be necessary. My focus has always been and will remain on building and maintaining the best client relationship possible.
