I am a storyteller on a cellular level, an art therapist by training. I have particular expertise in values-based storytelling--for children as well as adults--and in communicating “The Golden Thread” that connects your story and your authentic voice to your reader’s authentic needs.
I write / ghostwrite books (21 and counting!) memoirs and biographies, children's books, thought-leader interviews, organizational origin stories, feature articles, blogs, newsletters, websites, white papers, speeches, curriculum, + My niche includes knowledge sharing, leadership, personal and professional transformation, children's stories and books, and women’s and alternative healthcare.
I have written 50+ interviews with global thought leaders and subject-matter experts, including the bios that precede the interview, about such notables as actor Olympia Dukakis, feminist icon Riane Eisler, activists Sr. Helen Prejean and Zainab Salbi, spiritual leaders Grandmother Twyla Hurd Nitsch and Sri Daya Mata. These pieces appeared in international publications such as Parabola, Yoga International, and the Collective Wisdom Initiative, and were the focus of two books I have written.
I also ghostwrote 15 values clarification books for young children, ages 4 -10—and their parents and teachers—that teach self-awareness, self-esteem, and inner and outer conflict resolution through stories, poetic affirmations, role plays, and discussion prompts. The series is used by teachers and families around the world and is now a certified teacher training course for Montessori teachers.
My book, “The Kids’ After School Activity Book,” —the first handbook for latchkey children—was a collection of proactive self-management activities and stories that taught self-confidence and responsible decision-making to elementary-age children who spend time alone after school. As a result, I was invited to work with the CA Children’s Lobby to advocate for and help pass national childcare legislation that helped protect 2 million children in the U.S. who were home alone after school.
My NFP / corporate clients include the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, Scripps Healthcare, Kaiser Permanente, the University of San Diego Graduate School of Leadership and Education Sciences, Cardinal Stritch University, The Parliament of World Religions, The West Coast Conference on Partnership Education, San Diego Unified School District, The Women’s Interfaith Institute, Beliefnet, Parabola, Yoga Journal, +. I also write extensively for private individuals.

My resume, portfolio, and the testimonials to my work will give you the full scope of my skills and experience. I look forward to hearing from you and learning more about your project and how I can be of service to your work. 1771MargaretWolff@gmail.com.
