Why I freelance:
After graduating in 2019, I started freelancing under the business name Heartbeat Creative Consulting, helping clients with marketing projects involving written, photo or video content. I named the company “Heartbeat” because I wanted to focus my work on making the values behind a marketing or creative endeavor (its “heartbeat”) shine through in the finished product.
After gaining two years of experience at a Cleveland-based digital marketing agency, I am chasing flexibility, balance, and autonomy by putting my full focus into my freelancing side-hustle. After working in an agency environment, serving clients across industries like SaaS, manufacturing, retail packaging, real estate, construction, retail, law, veterinary, and more, I excel at quickly learning the tone, goals, and needs of each company I work with to effectively drive measurable success.
At NgageContent, I served as a Junior Copywriter for my first year and was then promoted to the position of Inbound Strategist, which I served in for more than a year. As Junior Copywriter, I wrote search engine optimized web page and blog content, email campaigns, social media posts, whitepapers, and full new websites. In my most recent role, I continued to write marketing materials but also focused more deeply on SEO and conversion rate optimization strategies, leading client relationships and monthly production plans, and creating robust, customized monthly data and analytics reports to inform future efforts.
