Vassoula is a Branding Consultant and Creative Entrepreneur with her own boutique design studio V.V. Creative, which is a place for collaborations. She hails from London UK, and brought her international and national design expertise to the US.
Vassoula combines brand strategy, brand architecture, storytelling, her craft and love for 360 branding experiences, extended through to brand guidelines. She shares knowledge she garnered leading multidisciplinary teams for global design studios and corporations such as Landor and Fitch Worldwide.
Clients she considers to be her heroes are those that give her the freedom to challenge the status quo and to disrupt and transform an industry. From Arclight Cinemas, where she was tasked with creating a new brand and theater experience, through ethnographic research, UX/UI, and the first cinema website for their inline booking system. To working with Nissan for 2 plus years to develop the global Brand program which allowed for flexibility to implement globally. These are just two examples of past clients that have allowed her to create the most unique work, always looking towards the end users. Understanding the customer!
One of her biggest challenges was working with Razer, a technology start-up and online shopping business. After extensive ethnographic research, learning about a new industry all its diverse potential gaming users. She led and helped launch their brand at E3. Working with a multidisciplinary team to create the naming nomenclature, brand, product design, UX/UI, packaging and marketing to bring to life a high performance gaming mouse the first of many has since followed, with iconic Boomslang being the first. All elements were created to appeal to the The Gamer market. It went from a small start-up to now being listed on NYSE, including a retail store in San Francisco as well as London UK..
She was brought to South Florida to work with corporations such as Office Depot, leading their in-house Private Brand Group. There she focused on expanding their diverse offers, including CPG repositioning, brand architecture for 5 brands in multiple categories, trends research, influencing seasonal designs for a new fashion brand i.e. (inspiration in everything) including collaborating with merchants in product development and marketing through various omni-channels.
She now loves to share that broad knowledge by assisting local start-ups, community groups, SMB companies, by informed strategies, design and marketing, B2C and B2B, that engage via digital, traditional and always differentiating unexpected informed creative.
More importantly it’s about getting into the heads and desires of one’s consumers. Whether ones dreaming up new marketing strategies, new ad campaigns, understanding what’s trending (key to anything I develop).
