As a member of a consulting firm, from observing the repetitions in the report development process, I created an Excel VBA Addin that let the user connect to any database, configure a set of dynamic Excel reports, and distribute the resulting dynamic workbook to end-users. The Addin cut reports development time from weeks to just a few hours. The tool was commercialized as part of our Data package.
